The 1st annual Wine Country Winter Festival is all about celebrating the season. This is a magical time of year, but sometimes we find ourselves in a “humbug” frame of mind. We hope this festival will infuse you with joy and anticipation. This is an event for all ages: young or young at heart!
Beautiful art, craft, and unique food products will fill Grace Pavilion. Buy holiday gifts for your loved ones from the artists that made them! So much better than the mall!
The Hall of Flowers will be home to a wonderful tasting…Wines, Microbrews and Spirits will be available. $25 will buy a glass and 6 tastes. Customers can also buy wines and beers in Grace Pavilion at the Wine/Beer Booth, and Bottled Product will be for sale next to the Tasting in the Wine/Brew/Spirits Store.
The Food will be outside in Shade Park, and will include some favorite holiday foods and yummy, indulgent treats. Look for delicious turkey and stuffing, fresh cracked crab, bratwurst, chowders and stews, gourmet sandwiches and lots of different ethnic choices, including traditional holiday foods from different countries!
The Main Stage will be in Grace Pavilion, and have rockin’ great music throughout the weekend. Blues, swing, Zydeco and much more…and a BIG dance floor! The Wine Stage will be in the Hall of Flowers and will have more eclectic music: world beat, jazz and classical. THERE WILL ALSO BE SING-ALONG CAROLING at the Wine Stage for 45 minutes both days.
The Showcase Building will be home to Santa and his Elves, and to the Entertainment Stage, which will have lots of juggling, comedy and other entertainment. There will be crafts projects plus other unusual holiday fun!
A portion of the proceeds benefits the Sonoma County Fair Foundation, which is the new Saralee and Richard Kunde Agricultural Education Program at the Fairgrounds.
Come with friends and family and get into the holiday spirit! This is the festival Sonoma County has been waiting for!
